Tall Ships

We went out to the tall ships this last weekend. It was along with all of the other 4th of July festivities. We got to go out on our neighbor's boat and see the parade in from the water last Thursday which was very cool. We also went down to the water front on Sunday and got to board the largest one, the Eagle which is the US Coast Guard training vessel. From what Steve says, anyone who is an officer candidate has to spend time on the vessel to learn sailing seamanship skills. It was quite insteresting. We also had to dress the little ankle biters up as pirates, of course! Guess what they slept with that night!!
