The Little House

Here is the little house Steve has been remodeling. It has turned out really nice. We had our first people inquire about renting it today, it would be a nice match, a military couple who will be here about a year more. We are hopeful they will call us soon. Meanwhile, we have put out a for rent sign and posted an add on Craig's list, so we will see. We really hope to have it occupied by November first, so keep your fingers crossed!!!

These are two trees on the property, the maple just infront of the front door and then a flowering cherry tree off to the right of the the house on the side of the master bedroom.

This is the entry way. Steve added the little divider that makes it more like an entry way. A very nice touch!

This is the kitchen. Steve opened up the area, and added the bar. It is a nice open concept, the kitchen is adjoining the first living area. Outside of the windows is the large covered deck. There is an adjoining laundry room just to the right of the chandelier where the eating area would be in the kitchen. It is nice sized.

Off to the right of the first living area and the is a second living area, we think it would make a nice media room space, or maybe a larger dining area if someone wanted to. I didn't get a pic of that, but you can see it on the video clip, it is the one with all the supplies left over from the remodel.

Then to the right of the media/living space is the master bedroom with an adjoining master bath that Steve added. It came out really nice.

This is the bathroom just off of the first living space, to the left of the kitchen. To the left of that bathroom are two smaller bedrooms, again, you can see these on the video.

These are some pics of the back yard. I know, needs some work, but mostly just a little bit of clean up, all the hard work is really done. Eventually we would like put in some top soil and level out the yard. Apparently the previous owners had some big dogs that really did some damage back there. But take a look at that huge covered patio! It is 15 by 30 feet!!! A perfect place to spend some time, in the summer, or winter! A space heater will just do the trick for the cooler months! I can also picture a swing and other furniture. It is almost like a whole other room out there!!! It will be very very nice when we get it all completed.

Anyways, that is the little house!!! It has been a lot of work, but I am very proud of what an amazing job Steve has done! We are certain whoever is the lucky one to live there will love the work too!
