Visit with Grandma Loretta and Aunt Lora

Aunt Lora and Grandma Loretta came in the week before Christmas. We had a lot of fun just hanging around the house, going Christmas shopping and baking lots of yummies! I meant to get a picture of our pretty goody plates we handed out to our neighbors, but didn't get it done. Those yummy cake balls were mine and the kids FAVORITE! We also got to go ice skating again this year. I stayed on solid ground, since my knee surgery this fall, thought that was the best, but Aunt Lora and Steve took the kids out on the rink. Grandma had fun watching too. We had a really nice time!

Hanging out at home playing with our radio control cars.

The kids got to ice skate with Santa Clause! Pretty cool.

Grandma Loretta and Aunt Lora really like to make some yummy food at Christmas time! Steve even got into the act with the peanut brittle.
Cake balls in the making! My FAVORITE!!

This is the little Christmas tree that Grandma Loretta got for us a few years ago. She did a great job with making the tree ornaments with her cross stitching. The Christmas Cactus is a gift from our neighbors.
We had our big turkey dinner on Christmas Eve because I had to work Christmas night. It worked out well.
