Nicole's 6th Birthday!

Hello all, it has been a really long time since I have posted anything on this blog. My Daddy got sick back in April and our family's word has been rocked since then. I took off for six weeks and have been home now since mid May, but things are still quite a bit topsy turvy back there. Dad was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia, it is a horrible disease. He is doing pretty well all things considering at this point. The chemo was unsuccessful, and he has gone home on supportive care, but continues to do a lot of the things he loves, like working in his garden. I am glad to see him have strong days. Anyways, I have a lot of catching up to do on this blog, but wanted to start with Nicole's lovely 6th birthday! I can't believe she has gotten this big!!!! Such a little lady. We had a princess, makeover kind of a party, had all sorts of fun dress up clothes, and a tea party kind of a thing complete with fancy sandwhiches! We had a lot of friends from around the neighborhood, and then a few friends from our homeschool coops and from church. It was fun. Here are some of her pics.
