Oh My Gosh!!!! I know it has been WAYYYYY to long since I have posted anything on here. I must apologize for those of you who like to check in on us, but life has been nuts. I am back in school attempting to finish my Bachelors in Science and Nursing. I am working hard, and hoping to be finished by June. Life will then get back to normal, whatever that is, at least my pre college life. Normal has never really been our forte to be honest. Regardless, here I am feeling guilty, but wanting to share a very cool pic. Andrew is playing basketball at the YMCA, and he got a terrific pic that I want to share. He is such a big kid. I have lots of videos, that unfortunately the way life is, I just don't have time to invest in putting up here right now, but once I am finished, I PROMISE I will get this blog updated. In the mean time, here is my boy, who I am very proud of!

Construction on Andrew's new room begins!!!!!
So this week we officially started the building of Andrew's new bedroom!!!! This has been a couple of years in the making, last year we remodeled the inside of what used to be Steve and I's master bedroom suite. Our old master bath became Nicole's bedroom, and Andrew has been sleeping in what was our old bedroom. The new bathroom was built in between the rooms. So this year we are adding on what will become Andrew's new bedroom and will be finishing off the bedroom into what will be the play/school/family room. So here are some pics and videos of the process.
Day 1: The excavation is done for the new room, forms are placed.
Day 2: The cement is poured.
Day 3 will be tomorrow. The guy will come back out and remove the forms and then Steve will be able to start the framing of the walls. We will have the roof trusses delivered next week. We are shooting for this being completed before my mom and sister come for their summer time visit the first week of August!!!! We are so excited to have this begin and will be even more excited when it is completed!!!! Yeah!!!!
Fathers Day 2012 Pass the meat please!!!
For Father's Day we splurged on Famous Dave's Barbque. We decided to do take out instead of going to the restraunt. Steve said that the line would be really long at a place like that for Father's Day. When I went to pick up the food, I found out he was right. Lots of men standing outside waiting. Glad we went for take out! Here is Steve watching the Seattle Mariners loose a game, but hey, that's okay! Pass some more meat please!
The last soccer game of the season!
Here are pics of our last soccer game. The kids sure have enjoyed being a part of this team. This coming Saturday we are having a final get together of the team. The plan is to have a scrimmage between the kids and the parents! Steve asked our coach if they will be supplying the needed oxygen for the parents! I will probably be cheering on both teams on the sidelines due to my bum knee. Not sure yet who I will be rooting for.... After that we are all headed to Round Table Pizza for an end of year party. Should be fun. It has been a fun time for all of us!!!
Adoption Day!!!!!
We have been an official family for 6 years now! Can you believe it??? Our yearly celebration trip to Chucky Cheeses was a lot of fun again this year. So when do you outgrow Chucky Cheeses? That will be a sad sad day!!!
Memorial Day
Steve went and saw his father's grave site on Memorial Day. This is at the Tahoma National Cemetary. It is the Vetrans Administration National Cemetary here in Kent Wa. Here are a few pics. We miss you Lee!
Rachael's Last Day
We had so much fun when Rachael was here! Thank you for coming and helping us out and playing with us! We love you soooooooo much!!!!!
Big Girl Play Date in Seattle with Rachael
Rachael and I went to Seattle and had a Big Girl Play Date. We had a lot of fun getting our nails done, having lunch at a great Thai restraunt even though Rachael made them not put veggies in hers! Can you believe that!!! We walked around downtown Seattle and then we went and played some pool. It was a lot of fun. Thanks Rachael for hanging out with me!!!
More of Blake Island
We had some pretty wild weather coming back from Blake Island. We actually blew out our main sail, a big huge rip in it! And we lost one of our anchors off the front of the boat from all the bucking of the waves we had to go through. But we survived. Thankfully! We even got a Rainbow at the end of it! Rachael said she still had fun, but she also said she thought we were all going to die. But we didn't! =0)

Adventures in May 2012
So I have been uploading pics to my Picasa but have not gotten them posted here. It can take quite some time to get the pics and videos uploaded, so doing this in stages is what I have been trying to do. Sorry it has been so long since I actually linked to my blog!
So April and May the kids played Soccer with our YMCA. It was a lot of fun, lots of videos of that here. Also when Rachael was here we took her to one of our favorite places to go on our sailboat, Blake Island. We had a lot of fun.
Still more to come!

Fun times with Cousin Rachael
While Steve was in Oklahoma with his family my Niece Rachael came to stay with us to help out with the kids while I was at work. She has stayed longer just to enjoy the spring time in the Pacific Northwest. It has been nice to have her here and we have done some pretty cool things. Here are some of our adventures!
We went to Chuckie Cheeses and to one of the most awsomest parks.
We went fishing at Spanaway Lake
We danced in a Flash Mob in Seattle and spent the rest of the day at and around Seattle Center, it was a gorgeous sunny day!!!!

Lots of things to catch up on. Life has been pretty nuts, but has recently getting back to normal. Sorry for getting so behind on these postings!
In March we took our spring break and we went to Seattle Zoo. Here are some pics. We had a fun day!
We also went to the Museum of Flight for our Spring Break. It was fun and educational!
Easter Baskets on Easter Sunday!
Steve's father, Grandpa Lee, was very ill, and he went to be with family during that time. Grandpa Lee went home to be with Jesus on April 17th 2012. We are so sad to have lost him. We are glad he does not have to be in pain any more. Before Steve left to be with his family we went to Dockton for a little family time. It was a fun day. Here is just a little video of our trip.

Horses and Basketball!
Andrew had his fourth basketball game today. He is getting better each game! He got a ton of rebounds and made four baskets! This is the first game he made any baskets in! I didn't get to see him make the baskets, as Nicole and I were coming late from her horse lessons! It was a busy morning. I am trying to motivate my little princess to read, and have told her if she reads 10 books in two weeks, then she can have horse lessons every other Saturday. This was the first horse lessons she earned for her reading. She was very excited. We hadn't gone to horse lessons since just before Halloween last year. As we pulled into the driveway of the home where we have lessons she says to me "It's good to be back!" She loves it! So I hope she loves it enough to keep up her additional reading with me! We shall see. So here are some pics/video of Nicole's horse lessons and then the end of Andrew's basketball game! It was a fun day.
