Mother's Day 2008

We had a nice Mother's Day. It was my weekend to work, unfortunately, but it was still nice. We decided to stay home from church to have some family time. I was supposed to have a home made breakfast, but, ahem, you know how those things go...
=0) Instead we had an early lunch at a Mongolian Grill restraunt on our way out to Chase Gardens, a local garden not far from here. It was about 4 acres and the home is where the owner still lives, who is about 98 years old! Here is the link and their photo gallery http://www.chasegarden.org/PhotoGallery.htm It was raining one minute, then dry the next, even a small bit of hail mixed in. It has been a strange spring so far. It was a nice day, even if we did have to cut it short so I could head off to work.
