Our first ride on the tandems!

We took our first ride on the tandems with the kids on Saturday and then again today, (Sunday). We went on the one of the rails to trails bicycle trail, it had been an old railroad track, and after it had been abandoned it has been made into a walking/biking/ whatever trail. We even share it with some equestrian traffic, which made for some interesting steering in a few places=0) We had a lot of fun, my legs are still burning. It will be good to hopefully get back in a little better shape. Little Andrew and Nicole are quite competative, they kept wanting us to "go faster!" What a fun time we will have with these two. Yesturday's ride was 20 miles and today was 15. They held up really well. We snagged a passer by at a park so here is the newest family portrait. Lycra and all.
