End of school pics

Well, our preschool is done for the year. Sad as that is. We have completely enjoyed being a part of this school. I love the coop part, of being able to be in the class room and how the kids have grown, and then to also know the teacher so well, and know the parents and hear from them how they see the kids. It has been a completely positive experience for us. I am so glad we pulled Andrew from the public school after last year. It was a completely different experience, seeing my quiet one get onto a school bus and then come home and have no idea about what he did and how he interacted. I guess I am a pretty hands on mom, and really like being able to see them both in action in their environments. I only wish this coop could go on for years. We are really thinking homeschooling will be best for us, but we have another full year to make that choice. In the mean time I have signed up to be a co-class rep with another mom from our class and we will be planning play dates for the summer, so we will still get to see our friends a few times a month, not counting any individual play dates. It should be a lot of fun!

These are pics from our little bar-b-que we had at the school and then our end of year picnic at a park close by. The day was absolutely amazing. We missed that kind of weather today. It was 58 and rainy all day long. Thank God for the YMCA and swim lessons!!! If nothing else, it got mom out of the house for some needed sanity!
