Andrew and Dad's first BMX race

Well, today we went out to the local BMX track and Dad and Andrew had their first adventure at racing the new bikes. Both crashed once, but lived to tell the tale. Dad is much more worse for ware than Andrew. One of Steve's favorite quotes "Old age and trechery will overcome youth and vigor" might yet to be proven! A good soak in our hot tube tonight has softened his old bones though, and he is sleeping like a baby as I type this last post! Nicole and I were the cute cheerleaders on the side. It really was a fun experience, and a very family oriented sport. We met some really nice people today, and look forward to hanging out at the track with them again!
