The Beginning of a new adventure!

Steve and I started talking about BMX racing for Andrew recently, and you know how that stuff goes. Steve did a little web surfing and found a local BMX track, then started looking at a true BMX race bike and then on Saturday while I was sleeping off my night shift and the Halloween partying we did, he took the kids to the BMX track. Well, Andrew took to it like a fish to water apparently. Sissy, not so much, but had fun hanging out and running around the track. So, being the impromptu people we are, Steve ended up going to a bike store and buying a bike and a full face helmet that very day for my little man. So now we have a rough and ready BMX racer on our hands! This all happened yesturday. Today after I got home from work Steve told me that Andrew was a little upset. Andrew apparently had gotten up, gotten dressed and was in his bmx helmet and knocking on the bedroom door asking to go biking! I played hooky from church, as there was an extra hour due to the time change, and I was just exhausted, but Steve and the kids went to church then we all headed out to the BMX track. We even brought Steve and my mountain bikes. Steve had fun riding the course with Andrew. Nicole and I walked around and looked cute. Or at least she did! So here are a few pics of the last few days and a video clip of Andrew going around the track before he got the new bike. And a video of the new bike after they got home.

(Notice Nicole's pink nose, left over from Halloween night!)
