Blake Island

We went on a three day trip to Blake Island last week. This is a state park that is only accessible by boat. We had gone once last year, and enjoyed it so much we wanted to go again. I am sure this will be a regular trip for us. It has so many things to do, a play ground right off the marina, nice hiking trails and a few geo caches available. If you aren't familiar with it, it is like treasure hunting w/ a gps system. A quick google search will tell you more. Anyways, we had a really nice time. It has been a cold wet spring for us this year, we got one day out of three that was sunny, and on the way home we had a constant soaking rain, but we still had fun. Like we have said many times, if you don't do it in the rain in WA, you just don't do it! We look forward to more adventures on the boat this summer, but hopefully with a little more sun!
