Well, it has been way to long since I have updated this blog. Thanks to technology I have now got a system that I can easily get this updated even while the kids are on the computers doing their homework! Yeah! I am using a new format, so if you want to see the pics in the slide show bigger, just click on them and you can go to a different link where the pics are bigger. So here is the most recent of our adventures, horse camp at Freestyle Farms. Nicole saw Black Beauty in the last few months and has fallen head over heals in love with horses. That started this adventure, and today we had our first horse lesson/horse camp at a local horse farm. It was a lot of fun. As I put Nicole to bed tonight she asked how many more days till she gets to go again! She loved it. Hopefully this summer we will get to do more. That's the plan anyways! I was very proud of them, Andrew was fearless, Nicole was cautious, but warmed up to it pretty well! The camp lasted for three hours, with three different stations the kids rotated through. One was learning about the horse body parts, how to put on the tack (bridle and saddle), how to lead a horse, etc. The second was the actual riding part, and the third was mucking out the stalls. Yes the kids scooped horse poop! And they liked it! Go figure! It was quite an impressive poop mountain. Overall they had a ton of fun.
