Andrew's first ER visit

Yesturday Andrew decided to borrow our neighbor's bicycle and ride it down the street. I guess that must be what happened, a different bike that handled a bit differently? Also a car parked on a side of the street that is usually never has a car parked. Anyways, apparently ran his bike into a parked car. I was sitting on the porch, heard a blood curdling scream and went out to see what was up. Andrew was coming up with our neighbor and had a pretty impressive bloody lip and after getting cleaned up it looked like he had poked a tooth right through his lip. Steve took Andrew to the ER and I stayed home with Nicole. Three hours later turns out it was two seperate cuts one on the inside, one on the outside, so not a through and through like I had thought. Luckily it was only a glue job and not actually stitches like I had anticipated. So here he is about 24 hours out from his crash. I am so glad he didn't get hurt worse. Steve says this is probably the first of many trips to the ER. He can't really remember how many times he has had stitches in his life. So I guess this is part of being a mom to a 100% all boy. Sigh.
