We went to a Rainiers baseball game last night. It is a minor league baseball team here in Tacoma that is a farm team for the Mariners. It was another spur of the moment deal and at a great price. It was Good Samaritan night and the Children's Treatment Unit where we take the kids for speech therapy was given a bunch of tickets for a party deck that was catered. It cost seven dollars each for the whole schmeal. We got to go down on the baseball field with some other CTU families and kids and was there during the National Anthem. It was a accapella group that was amazing. The kids even got some squishy baseballs too! The weather was very nice, warm but not hot and you could see Mount Rainier floating in the distance from our seats. We even got to see one of the Rainiers hit a Grand Slam! It could not have been a better night!
