Ahoy Matey! Andrew's Pirate Party

Hi everyone! We had Andrew's birthday party today. He is a whopping five years old as of last Wed. We had the party this afternoon with a bunch of friends from the neighborhood, our preschool, and from our church. It was a lot of fun. We made it a pirate party that turned out pretty darn cute if I do say so myself! We even made our own pirate pinata from a cereal box and some really cute pics of the kids. It turned out great, I did forget to get a pix of it, so you will have to take my word for it though. We decorated up the house pretty cute, and got pirate hats including a eye patch and a sword or a hook for all the kids. We had about 15 friends come plus their parents! It was a little nuts, but a ton of fun. We had an early rain scare that chased us inside for a few minutes, but then it went through and it was dry the rest of the time. Thank goodness! I like my house and all, but it is just not big enough to have that many kids roaming around inside for too long. Thank goodness the weather was mostly dry!!!
