A few more criters
We are the proud new parents of stick bugs. The Children's Therapy Unit (CTU) where we do a lot of our speech therapy has stick bugs and we took some home tonight. We went out last night and bought two little critter keepers and found some cool sticks and then today when we had OT we got the little guys. Or girls, actually. Steve, in Steve fashion, did some google searches and learned a bit about them. Turns out stick bugs are all girls, no boys, and no boys required to have babies. Go figure. So anyways we picked up four girls, two for Andrew and two for Nicole. Are the Grandmas freaking out yet? Wait till you see the video... They really are cute little girls once you get over the whole creepiness of them. We are told they have been around CTU for about 10 years or so. Each bug lives about 6 months, they only care they require is a good squirt with a water bottle once a day, they eat black berry bushes and they reproduce rapidly, so it will be interesting when we have babies! I am sure you all just can't wait!
